"Encounter" is a very special part of Vacation Bible School at St. John the Divine, Houston. The church partners with local and world missions every year. The kids who participate in VBS at SJD learn about partner missions in ways that help them relate on a very personal level.
On their Vimeo page, SJD states, "We strive to instill in every child the understanding that what they do together with others can make a very real impact in the lives of people close to home and around the world, not just during VBS week, but the other 51 weeks of the year."
